Artist Statement

I photograph the wildlife of Southern Nevada - its deserts, wetlands, and the quiet spaces in between. My work is rooted in patience and observation, seeking moments that reveal the character and resilience of the natural world.

Rather than simply documenting animals, I aim to capture the feeling of being there: the tension before a strike, the stillness of early morning light, the brief and fragile interactions that often go unnoticed. Each image is the result of time spent learning a place and returning to it again and again.

Light and detail guide my approach. Whether it is a subtle portrait or an intense moment of action, I strive to present wildlife with honesty and respect, allowing the subject to speak for itself.

These photographs are an ongoing record of my connection to the landscapes and creatures that surround me - proof that even in the busiest modern environments, wild moments are always unfolding.
