Artist Statement

I photograph wildlife and landscapes with an emphasis on form, movement, and restraint.

My work is less about documenting a place or subject, and more about how it feels to stand within it - the quiet moments, the tension, and the space between things.

Working primarily in black and white allows the image to exist without distraction, reducing the scene to its essential elements. When color appears, it is intentional and rare.

These photographs are shaped by patience, observation, and time spent returning to the same places until they reveal something beyond the obvious.
